         verify your straw count with the teacher.

Journal Entry (15m):  

We have discussed the types of information that might be included in a project cut list. Research the topic of cut lists. Provide a link to your research and then list several of the reasons why  are an important part of the design & manufacturing process. 

There is a three (3) sentence minimum for this post and you will need to include your research link as well. Click this link: DDP_Day03 to submit your journal response.

 

Class Activities (10m):

  • Demo: Saving your SketchUp drawing as an image file for posting
  • Creating parts and assembling them in SketchUp

 

Independent Activities (20m):

  • Please continue to finish your Tech Wars project drawing. 
  • Be sure the components and overall project are DRAWN TO SCALE (DTS). 
  • You will need to add the necessary dimensions to be able to identify the component sizes in your drawing.   

 

TOOC (5m):  Were you able to upload your completed Sketchup drawing of your TW project design? Name on the image file?

You will need to submit .jpg file of your design sketch to edmodo.com by the end of class on Today - 2/5/13

  • Use this time to complete your TW drawing and add the necessary detail of a working design.

 

TOOC (15m): Review your midterm score and DDP1 grade summary, check the final for correct scoring. Write a brief statement on the exam answer sheet (bottom of ruler challenge), stating what you thought about the exam and how you feel about your results for the exam and your DDP1 Q2 grade.
