Mailbox Post Project

So here is the scoop:

 

You are to use Google Sketchup to draw a 3D design of a mailbox post support system similar to the example below.

  1. The mailbox post must be able to support a large size mailbox with the dimensions shown, as well as a flower pot support (your ideas welcome!).
  2. Please use the appropriate dimensions as specified by the USPS for rural mailboxes.
  3. Your Sketchup drawing needs to be fully dimensioned!
  4. Your materials will be 1 - 4"x6"-12' - cut into parts as necessary. Note: 4"x6" actual dimensions are 3.5"x5.5"!

 

 

 

 

 

Dimensions: 23.5"L x 11.5"W x 15"H

 

 

 

 

 

Size and design is up to you!
